Studio C from BYUtv

I don't know about you guys out there but most of us probably love the skit show Saturday Night Live but the problem is that it has some dirty jokes in some of the skits. I bet more of us would watch SNL all the time but you don't know if there will be a dirty joke or not.

Studio C created by BYUtv is a great skit show. It's just as funny as SNL but without the dirty jokes. It's appropriate for kids but also is super funny for teenagers and adults too. It has some nice clean humor that is fun for the whole family! Though it's a family show, the younger kids might not get all the jokes being a show written by adults. Also, sometimes the jokes include things about zombies and killing so you might not what to let kids under maybe 9 to watch it. They just wouldn't be old enough to understand.

If you don't have the the BYUtv channel on your cable, every episode made is on byutv.com for free. The times for the show's airing is also on the website. I love watching this show and I hope that most of you will also love and enjoy it too!

Down the Rabbit Hole by Peter Abrahams

This book is about a 13-year-old girl named Ingrid who plays soccer and reads the famous stories of Sherlock Holmes. She lives in a quite town and longs to play the lead role of Alice in the community theaters production of Alice in Wonderland. But when Ingrid's literally brand new friend suddenly is murdered, she'll have to find the murderer they find her, and before the police start pointing fingers at Ingrid herself!

Let me start off by saying this was actually a good book for kids. They labeled it as young adult but really there was really no violence and the author didn't go into the murder to deeply. He just briefly skimmed it without much detail. Although, there wasn't much violence they did have a creepy character and there definitely was suspense. As for romance, I will tell you to that there is a guy in this book that is Ingrid's age but he's only there because she's a teenage girl and has crushes. It was also pretty complected being a mystery so this might not be for kids under maybe 12. I think this book was also good for teenagers and adults too. Even though Ingrid is 13, she sounds more mature then she is and interacts with a lot of adults.  The book was well written and very clever. It also ties in with Alice in Wonderland and there is a hidden meaning between the stories.

This book is a great book for preteens to young adults and  does not fail to please the audience with mystery, suspense, and a good moral.

What's new?

Hey, What's new?
This is Liv here trying to find media that is fun and CLEAN. I made this blog to find clean books, t.v. shows, and movies that are fun for most young kids and are still enjoyable for teenagers and adults. I will do some of the media that I want, but do you have any new media to suggest? I will read and watch it and give it a review that judges on how clean it is and also how good it was. Also comment on what you think about my review!
